Banks charge a fee to process credit card payments! Most stores recover the cost of accepting credit cards by raising their prices. So everyone pays for credit card use - even if they are paying by cash or check. Here the prices are set as low as they can be. No extra is built into the prices to cover credit card processing. If you want to use a credit card a 2% premium will be added to the invoice total. Credit cards are not accepted for international shipments.
We have bows, cases, strings, instruction books, and parts & accessories. Please ask-- many items are in stock, but not listed on the website. Generally, any music ordered from BEMS.com at the same time as an instrument can be sent with no additional shipping charge.

Packing and shipping charges, by FedEx ground, to US (except Alaska and Hawaii) addresses:
Bass viol or cello $95; Tenor or alto viol $65 ; Treble viol, pardessus, or violin $50. Ask for information about express shipment, or shipment to other addresses.
International shipping rates vary considerably. It generally costs about $400 to ship a bass viol to a customer in Europe. An exact price can be provided- please send your full address with your request.
All instruments from violadagamba.com are sold with a two-week return policy. If you do not like an instrument you may return it (in its original condition) for a full refund, for any reason, within two weeks of receiving it.
